BEHAVIORAL HEALTH

Behavioral Health Specialist

Christina Schneider, LISW-S

I am a licensed independent social worker with over a decade of experience working with children and families in community mental health settings. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Miami University - Ohio and my Master’s in Social Work at The Ohio State University. I am also credentialed as an Ohio Infant Mental Health Practitioner.

I treat a variety of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), trauma and stressor-related disorders, and attachment disorders. I use evidence-based treatments to ensure best outcomes for my clients and work closely with families to ensure my client’s needs are being addressed effectively.

I am very excited to join the Montgomery Pediatrics Inc., team through Cincinnati Children’s Integrated Behavioral Health program. I feel strongly that integrating mental health care into pediatric settings supports better and earlier access to services for families in our community. I look forward to providing early intervention and prevention services, in addition to mental health treatment services, and feel honored to be part of this work.

Outside of my profession, I am a proud first generation Filipino American and enjoy spending time with friends and family. I live in Cincinnati with my husband and three young children. We have several pets that we adore, including a dog, leopard gecko, hedgehog, and two hermit crabs. I have a love of food, art, animals, plants, traveling, and baking.
